Alright, so on to the next step. I just had my maternity records faxed over from baby #1, baby #3 and the miscarriage. I do not have any records from baby #2. I don't know which hospital/doctor etc. and noone can tell me anything. I have given up. So...Next we schedule a 1 day workup, for both Drew and I, in Denver. Here are the medications i will be taking: Lupron shots for 2 weeks Prometrium Birth control Progesterone oil Prenatal vitamins My one day workup I will get my medications and have the following: Doppler of my uterus Hysterscopy (no fun) Drug screen Pap smear Blood test for ANY transmittable disease, for both Drew(husband) and I. Rubella test Varciella test Chem 22 panel T4/TSH MMPI which is a personality test meeting with gestational carrier nurse meeting with psycologist The clinic screens people really well, just to make sure everyone knows whats involved. We are scheduling this mid April, hoping to transfer early May.

You have to start somewhere

Today I got a confirmation email from my insurance company stating that it will cover a surrogate pregnancy, and any maternity costs. This is a huge relief, because now we can take the next step.
I am matched as a Gestational Surrogate for J & J. I do not use their full names because it is a privacy issue.(for those of you who do not know, a gestational surrogate means it is not my egg,the baby/babies will have no genetic ties to me) I am in Greeley Colorado and they reside in Parker Colorado, about an hour away. I will be using my own doctor once I get pregnant..but the getting pregnant part is a process. I am going to CCRM to do ultrasounds, transfers and get all of the shot information. The IPs( intended parents ) are working up a contract now..SO....our next step is meeting with the lawyer.
